Moved from an all in one ‘Delonghi Dinamica’ to a ‘La Marzocco Micra’. Still need to look for a decent grinder as I am not very satisfied with the Breville smart grinder…

  1. I hate this sub so much rn. Every second post is a linea micra.

Congrats, but I hope your wallet isn’t too empty, cuz you gotta fix your grinder situation asap. Don’t waste all the money you spent on that beautiful machine.

you got a mlem, do you not make milk drinks? that machine placement next to the oven with no room to move the steam wand is uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh

That grinder doesn’t even cut it with my Turin Legato V2 which was $400 what are you doing

  5. 20% grinder 80% Espresso machine… i would upgrade the grinder because the machine is nice but it only needs to do 9bar.

Wow! the best machine ever with the worst grinder ever! 🤪

Why so much hate about the grinder? I am aware it’s not the best on the market I just had to start somewhere… Getting a high end grinder without any machine at all would not have been the best of ideas (especially if we invoke ‘common sense’ as in some comments 😀 ) And as far as I know there is no law yet preventing upgrading the grinder now that the machine is there :p For now, I still have better shots than with my old all in one so it’s a win for me, and no one could ruin my joy of possessing such a beauty so don’t sweat it 😀

Question because I can’t sort it out: is Sage the UK version of Breville?

I’m so envious! I would love a La Marzocco. I do want the Mini though, rather than the Micra.

There is no taste difference between 9 bar machines you got taken for a ride

Damn bro, you got so much hate 🙁

I am happy for you. It’s an amazing machine. I do not blame you for upgrading machine first, because micra is just soo good. I get it. You just followed your heart.

Definitely go with a flat burr grinder. I think the DF64 is allright. You can always upgrade to ssp burrs and slow feed it and it will perform on par with other 64mm flat burr grinders.

Incoming “why is my shot channelling so much?”

So much hate for the SGP. I think it’s the best grinder in its price segment. What do you guys think? Besides clumpy espresso grounds which is an easy fix, what’s the issue with it?
