Hello! I would love to pick the brain of all you ice cream geniuses. My sister-in-law loved the Blue Bell Christmas Cookie ice cream that we had many years ago, and so I wanted to make it for her for Christmas! But I am stumped at how to re-create this at home! The flavor description is: Sugar cookie flavored ice cream with chocolate chip cookies, snickerdoodles and sugar cookies, red sprinkles, and a green frosting swirl.
I have a Whynter ICM-15LS and access to major grocery stores. With a little googling, I have seen people create a sugar cookie base with sugar cookie flavored coffee creamer or sweetened condensed milk and whipping cream. For the frosting, would you just add canned frosting as you layer churned ice cream into the container? Any advice is much appreciated! Thank you!
