The smoke is very heavy handed and pungent, like a mesquite. This might go well in bbq sauces and with beef but so far with other foods it’s not great.

I’ve never seen this one. That’s a bummer

It took me a while to like this one. However, I loved their Smoked Habenero sauce right away and it’s one of my all time favorites. It’s significantly less smokey.

Not a fan either. Only one of their sauces that’s a hard pass for me.

I have this one and smoked habanero and that one is like this too. I can’t use it as a hot sauce because it’s just so overwhelming, but it works if you think of it as liquid smoke. A drop or two in a pot of chili is about all it takes – any more than that and it’s all you taste.

I greatly prefer their Smoked Habanero to Smokin’ Marie’s.

It’s the taste of lighter fluid that puts me off on this one.

I like this sauce a lot; I picked up another bottle in Belize just a little bit ago!

Blegh! So gross.
Pungent too.

I like it! It tastes like it’s got a shot of Laphroaig single malt in there with it. Which might not be for everyone…

I have both, so far opened the Smoked Habenaro, and I even it has a over Liquid Smoke taste, good in soups but not directly , think I might just save the Smoking Marie’s for the collection

Tastes like Band Aids smell. One of my least favorite sauces ever.

Obvious lie. Your hand is clearly on the battle. Do your nerves not allow for the sensation of touch?

It taste like bottled campfire and I’d get a terrible stomach ache each time after using it

I love this stuff, along with the reserve label El Yucateco, but I love anything smokey.
