Castle & Coal also has really great seasonal kouign-amanns! It’s a little far from me so I don’t go as often as I’d like to.

JUNELLE IS ALL HITS WITH THE CANNELE. She is a gem of a soul and clearly so talented 🫶🫶

Conci at Parliament and Gerrard. Killer Kouign Amann too.

I’m doing their canelé class in December 🙂 should be fun

Ah, so that’s what those are called. I bought some at a store in Mexico but they didn’t have a label/name and I tried searching a bunch and couldn’t find the name. The only place I’ve found them so far in Toronto is a place in St Lawrence market and they call them Portuguese tarts.

Why did you add two spelling mistakes on the Key word, two Ns and accent is the other way

Issho bakery on Gerrard east has some tasty Caneles

ABSOLUTELY AGREE. The custard integrity is top notch. Perfect recipe

  9. Bomou’s canele are top tier, however I do find a distinct vanilla extract flavour (which is still great). But duo patisserie in markham in my opinion has a slightly better canele in terms of pure vanilla flavour and burnt sugar crust.
