My recipee for 20-22 liters
4 kg pears (wait for big sales for perfumed ones).
4 kg sugar
20-22 liters of water
1 pack of yeast
Can go without pectic enzyme.
Just dump all in a pail.
I got 20 liters of wine. 75 cents /1 liter.

I read boiling water works as well. Curious if there is a difference between boiling water vs tap water, when adding it to the carboy.
