Today’s Nommin’ Ni is — A simple yet flavorful seafood stew, Cioppino! A dish that we always seems to order at seafood restaurants. Decided to give it a try at home and it turned out amazing! Just need to find all the right ingredients your heart desires. (Note: Pair it with some homemade focaccia, mm, so satisfying)
Ingredients: seafoods (we did mussels, shrimps), celery, carrot, onion, butter, parsley, pepper flakes, cayenne, garlic confit, wild mushrooms confit, fire roasted crush tomatoes, white wine (complementing seafoods and not overpowering), black pepper, lemon. No additional salt as you’ll get it from seafoods naturally.
Prepping: 20 minutes (cleaning mussels and little chopping)
Cooking: 25 minutes
-Sauté vegetables with butter until soften
-Spices and confits in
-Tomatoes (fresh or canned) and 1 tomatoes can of water, bring to a boil
-Seafoods in, bring to simmer
-Add in parsleys and black peppers
-Boiled, lemon juice all over and serve
