Came out incredible, one of my best grill cooks of kalbi beef. It did not last long at the family dinner table.
Four pieces, ~1/2″ thick each & two lbs total. Marinated ~12 hrs in Sempio kalbi sauce (not galbi) because they were so thick. And basted during the grill cook.
Grilled on a full heat three burner 30K BTU sear station for about 6-7 minutes (at ~550F hood temperatures). Then switched to double burner low direct heat in the 350 F hood temperature range until finished, another 5 or so minutes. With the sugar in the marinade, the grill cook is a dance of good searing while avoiding charring.
Amazing flavors, highly recommended. Enjoy & have a great weekend.
