A little white paper towel and a tablespoon of cooking oil. I never use lighter fluid. This burns slowly and gets the coals burning quickly even on a rainy day.

Using food grade paper towel.
Same, I grease the grill/pan with a paper towel and use that to light coals
I just tear off a piece of the coal bag. By the time it’s down low the bag will be burned as well
this is the way
I pack the bottom of the chimney with a combination of old newspaper and charcoal bags. Starter chimney sits on two bricks. I prefer stick matches over a lighter. One or two matches does the trick. A box lasts forever and is easier to tell when you’re about to run out.
I use the side burner on my gas grill 😉
I use two of my wife’s cotton balls with a drop of nail polish remover on each.
I collect and use burnable junk mail.
