How to fix jam auger? Rain got into my pellets and jam it

I used a blow torch to burn it out. And a screwdriver occasionally.

Depending on the model of the smoker, you may be able to remove the auger from its housing/tube. once removed, you can soak the caked pellets in warm water for 30 minutes, and they should expand and crumble off.

If it’s just at the pellet box, a screwdriver and a shop vac will usually work.
If the whole auger is plugged up, you can try lighting it in fire from both ends, or disassemble the auger.
