Hello – I have an older pixie model, but it has had an issue where the water isn’t flowing. When I push down on the water tank quite firmly the water flows but it still seems slightly reduced. I pulled this small round piece out of the base of the machine where the water tank sits, and I tried to reinsert it into the base but when I reinstall the water tank it pushes this piece down to the bottom of the base and the water won’t flow. Any advice please? Am I missing a piece?

All that little doodads does is push open the valve on the bottom of the tank. Yoiu most likely have a vapor lock; there is a bubble of air stuck in the pump and you’ve got push water into the plumbing to move the bubble past the pum. Easily fixed but difficult to explain. Search the yootoobs for “Nespresso not pumping” or Nespresso vapor lock.” Or wait till someone tried to explain it for you.
It’s an air lock issue. Try figuring a way to suck or blow air through that inlet and get it moving. That’s what I had to do with my Inissia. It’s a problem with many of the OL machines.
