This is a healthy version of green bean casserole with a little twist of lemony white sauce with a crunch of pistachio and pecans.

1/4 cup salted pistachio
1/4 cup Pecan
1 tablespoon sesame seeds white
Half teaspoon cinnamon,
1 teaspoon cumin powder,
1 lbs fresh green beans, trimmed
2 tablespoon ghee or you can use butter or oil of choice
1/4 teaspoon coconut sugar
Ingredients for whipped sauce
4 ounce feta cheese crumbled
Half cup Greek yogurt
Half lemon juice
2 tablespoon olive oil
One clove of garlic
1/4 cup of pomegranate for Garnish and a pinch of rock salt
Recipe
Chop the pistachio and pecans
Place chopped pistachio and pecans in a bowl and mix cinnamon, coconut, sugar, cumin powder, salt in it.
Boil the water in a large pot and add green beans and cooked until crispy and tender drain the water and place the beans in a bowl of ice water to cool down.
Then dry off the beans with a towel.
Place a large skillet over medium heat and add pistachio and pecan mixture.
Now add beans sauté until heated through about 5 to 6 minutes. Remove from heat and set it aside.
Now let’s make the whipped sauce
In a blender add all the ingredients of fifth sauce mentioned above and blended until it’s nice and smooth in two minute. You will see it nice and fluffy and whipped take it out in a bowl.
It’s time to spread the whipped sauce, evenly on the serving platter top with the green beans and then with pistachio and pecan mixture and add at the end garnish it with beautiful pomegranate.
