As a Maryland native, I'm ashamed to day
I've never had this. Love me some Old Bay, and I've seen this, but have put off buying it because it's like 4.67

I was so excited to try it. I hate it

  2. 22curious1

Yes, it has it’s particular uses, like many.

  3. ErroneousM0nk

I put it on everything fried and seafood of course

  4. goodrevtim

It’s not terrible, not amazing. It tastes like if you mixed Old Bay into Frank’s Red Hot.

  5. doublebogey182

Love it. It has its place. On the east coast apparently people put old bay on their pizza sometimes. After I was there and found this out, I thought that pizza would be a good place for this sauce. IMO I was 100% right. It is also good in general and not just for pizza.

  6. DinnerDiva61

Yes and we like it a lot. Great on seafood.

  7. TableAccomplished28

Love it on some fresh oysters

  8. Mr_Zizzle

I only use it in bloody Mary’s. Once it’s gone, I won’t buy more.

  9. I like it, but in the situations I think it works, I’d prefer Crystal.

  10. chrisdicola

only had it in a bloody mary, loved it though

  11. IPerferSyurp

I’m not super familiar with Old Bay blend of spices, but I am very curious and would definitely try this on all kinds of good stuff!

  12. thecaptainllama

It’s great on wings, pizza, and eggs.

  13. littleguyinabigcoat

It’s ok, pretty much what you would expect

  14. CadaverBlue

Old Bay Hot Sauce is tangy and has a bit of an eye blink flavor to it, but this is not really a hot sauce, in any way, shape, or form. It’s like a creamy A1 suce.

  15. krakhare

Yes. Highly recommend for low country boilin’!!!

  16. Partagas2112

It’s Tapatio with a dose of Old Bay. Good stuff!

  17. Designer_Advisor623

Got a bottle in the fridge, love it!
I’m also from MD, so I could probably take a shot of the stuff with a straight face

I stumbled upon this sauce. My wife’s family doesn’t do spicy, at all, mild salsa is too much to bring to functions, except her youngest brother kinda sorta does. Anyways, I was stuck at their house and it was decided to order pizza and broasted chicken for everyone, amazingly boring pizza/chicken kind of deal. I frantically searched high and low for anything that can bring some heat. Her brother brought that out. Not spicy really but it brings flavor when flavor is needed.

To me it was a mild Tabasco poured in a flavorful salt lick. If that makes sense.

I have not bought it myself, but if I see it at a grocery store I’ll probably grab one.

It’s good, just a regular Louisiana-style, vinegar/cayenne with a bit of Old Bay. The Old Bay isn’t overwhelming so you can use it like any other Louisiana-style sauce. I should get a bottle it’s been a while.

If youre an old bay head then its a must. I put some on some pimento cheese dip which I found delicious. Great on eggs.

  21. troutsoup

i have a ton of bottles. they were a limited thing so i scooped em up. i think im down to 6 now. started with 11 i think

  22. willydajackass

If you’re a fan of old bay it’s fire! Not hot but damn good taste

  23. timbofoo

It’s ok. Very true to the source — strong Old Bay flavor and smell. Reeeeaaaallllyyyy salty — I’ve had it for a while but rarely use it, just can’t figure out what I want that much salt on. About the only thing I’ve used it on more than once is popcorn.

  24. doctorinfinite

Very basic but good. I would definitely get it again.

  25. NovelSimplicity

It’s not super hot but it’s awesome, especially if you already like Old Bay’s flavors. My family will roll through a bottle of it.

  26. Mrmetalhead-343

Absolutely fire sauce. Not particularly spicy, but incredibly flavorful. I fried some catfish and threw this on it.

  27. stdio-lib

I just bought it becuase I thought it was any old other hot sauce But when I figured out that it was the perfect accompanyment to roasted corn, I changed my mind.

  28. nlesspursuit

Ummmm when was this beautiful creation made?! I’ll be looking for it now!

  29. dreamking77

Yeah it was in one of my local 99centa stores. Its good

  30. muerte626

I like it a lot as a daily go to but i randomly find it in my area. I really want to try the old bay Bloody Mary mix

  31. Sowf_Paw

Lots of Old Bay flavor, which I love but very little heat. Mix it with or use it with another sauce if you want heat.

  32. AdamD1987

It’s alright. I love old bay, but not on everything, so this is a very specific usage for me.

  33. Squanchings

It’s pretty good! Especially if you love old bay. Not my favorite hot sauce by any means, but it gets the job done.

  34. schmidtultra

I walk through bottles of this stuff. It’s basically Frank’s with Old Bay, but that’s what’s expected. Not too hot, decent flavor, and relatively inexpensive.

  35. Key_Shoe5850

I looks like it’s about as hot as tobasco but I bet it taste good.

  36. tuna_samich_

I’m a MD native and not really into it. Imo Delaware Sauce Company has better Chesapeake seasoning sauces including some with ghost pepper

  37. knightstuff

Nope. No one has had it. They just bottle it and no one eats it.

  38. DraigBlackWolf

As a Texan, taste as advertised.
As an East Coastie, GTFO if you don’t agree.
As a TX-MD plant…………. This is it? This is “Hot Sauce”?
