Greetings burger lovers!
A new day for a new double bacon cheeseburger. Inspired by this YouTube video
from the australian kitchen equipment manufacturer Breville and Sean Brock, a chef
specializing in Southern cuisine. Video in the comment section.
My take on things differs a bit from his through the use of a different bun and I kept
the bacon whole instead of grinding it into the meat, my cheese of choice was dutch gouda,
his was american cheese. The rest is the same.
- homemade wheat/whole wheat/rye homemade buns sprinkled with poppy seeds
- sauce with mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard and Worcestershire sauce
- pickle slices on the bottom
- two double ground beef quarterpounder beef patties
- four slices of gouda cheese
- four slices of smoked bacon
As the picture shows it, it can be easily operated with one hand.
Soft, delicious, gooey. A real guilty pleasure!
