    Whoa! The chicken should fit tightly into a much smaller jar. Quart size and squeeze it in.

    Please don’t eat these. Based off your other comments, using an electric canner, especially on meat is not safe.

    I would refrigerate or freeze if its still under 24hr window.

    Get more experience with canning and be more mindful of your canner while processing. You need to be watching gauge the entire time. Unless you get a weighted pressure canner.

    Just looks like you need to pack the chicken more. Try to use sooner but should be ok. Actually have to pack it tighter than you think. It shrinks quite a bit.

    Quart should hold aprox. 2 lbs, pint aprox. 1 lb

    Btw I live at 1600 ft above and use 15lbs of pressure for my canning. Pts. 75 min/quarts 90 min.
