I started out in 2018 with a smoke box on my propane grill and it went as bad as you would imagine. I’ve moved on to a more commercial setting (after 5 years of practice) and I loved every step of the way.
I have seen many “first time smoking x meat” and most are great and some need some work. I would like to share my first brisket as well as some others that I am more proud of. I hope this inspires other bbq cooks and backyard warriors.
This sub has given me more inspiration than I could ever give back. Feel free to critique and ask questions. I’m open to both.

The final picture is my final one before I stoped taking pictures of my home cook stuff. Homemade white bread, Carolina bbq sauce, Texas bbq sauce, pickled cucumbers and onions. Brisket burnt end baked beans, Pulled pork, Texas hot link and brisket. I threw in couscous salad (I know it’s not traditional) because I really enjoy it. I was very proud of this.

Such a great quote. Every Michelin starred pit master has fucked up a brisket before. Last pic looks like you’ve got this shit down!
