🌸 Morning Routine of a Vegan Homemaker | Plant-Based Family of 7 🌸

Welcome to my cozy morning routine! Today, I’m sharing how I care for my plant-based family of seven, starting with a nourishing breakfast and a simple yet delicious lunch for my husband before he heads out for the day.

Here’s what I made for breakfast:
🍳 A savory tofu scramble
🥔 Crispy potato hash from leftover roasted potatoes
🍞 Warm, fresh homemade bread

In general as a bread recipe guideline I use:
2 cups of water, 1 1/2 tsp salt, 3-4 tbsp sugar, 2tsp active dry yeast, 2 tbsp oil, 4.5 to 5 cups of flour.
We have also made bread without measuring and this is the video to watch https://youtu.be/T8EHwSVGs08?si=1HRNajjA7ZHDAUQl

These quiet morning moments are all about creating simple, delicious meals that bring comfort and love to my family. Whether you’re looking for vegan meal ideas or just a little homemaking inspiration, I hope you’ll feel right at home here.

  1. Good morning…. I love watching your videos. I am not vegan but i tried your pumpkin oatmeal bake and it was a favorite in my house. You are a great mom, very calm and have alot of patience. ❤❤

  2. Rosa, what I admire most about you is how you deal with mishaps (today it was the bread situation). You always manage to get through these setbacks with such ease! A trait you are instilling in your children. Life doesn’t always go according to plans. How we deal with the bumps in the road is so important! Love tofu scrambled breakfast burritos! 💡 Great meal prep! ❤

  3. Good morning Rosa❤️ I loved this. I’m so glad you get some quiet time for yourself. You are so busy all the time. How do you like that spiralizer? I can’t seem to find one that I don’t end up tossing out. I really want to make that zucchini salad. Here in the winter time the greens are very expensive but zucchini is much more affordable and I always have hemp hearts in the fridge. Using the apple corer on the pear is a great hack. lol to the kids grabbing at the ketchup. To a kid, ketchup is life 😂 peace and love to you all

  4. Hi Rosa…soaps look wonderful. Like your tofu scramble…I use silken tofu with similar spices…your recipe looks yummy. Glad you have some "me" time in the morning.

  5. I miss those days when all the kids were at home. Like you I got up early to prepare my husband's breakfast and lunch. Then we would take 15-20 minutes to sit on porch together and drink coffee before he left. This was our quiet time together.
In the summers our oldest had a lawn care business and 2 of our other son's went with him, so their breakfast and lunches had to be prepped also.
I would usually rotate days, having one of our daughters help me. They didn't always enjoy that, but I personally felt and still feel that it helped them learn not only to cook but also just learning how to be a homemaker in case they didn't want to work outside their home. It also gave them a chance to share their hopes, fears and just general stuff going on in their life and minds. I learned an awful lot as a mom during those times just with being in the kitchen one on one with them and giving them that time to not only learn and work but just to be able to have time with me to vent.
But that said I sure do understand your saying you enjoy the quiet, peaceful (no noise) time in the morning.
Even though some days just seemed like total never-ending chaos- I do now miss those times and cherish those chaotic memories.
I have yet to try tofu scramble, yours looks really good. Also, thanks for the plant-based soaps. Going to place an order here shortly and am looking forward to trying it.
I sure do enjoy your video's – wishing you all a blessed week.

  7. Thank you so much for sharing this video! I loved the tofu idea with the coconut milk and seasonings. I ordered my lip balm, face cream and vegan soaps! And to think they will carry your family's energy is a major plus. Who could ask for more! Much love to you all! 🐦🐦🐦

  8. Wonderful peaceful video . I also like the quiet when I can grab it. And the children grow up too fast then they will move out and these moments together with the chaos and noise and laughter and hugs will be cherished movements. Love you guys. Hugs to all

  9. You are the best!!!! Just stumbled across your channel. You are such a good wife and Momma. And I love how you handle things when they don't go as planned. I wish I could just roll with things like that! ❤❤

  10. Wow! This is serious real time meal time! Thanks for sharing this video. I love the tofu sauce idea, will try it the next time I make some.
