I feel like at home I would still put the tortellini in the pot with the soup since I would want to get more flavor in the noodles…but this way is definitely better for a restaurant setting.

I will be living with my Dad in apartment 2 hours away from my home( it was provided in his health care insurance) during radiation. These are the most comforting recipes, my Mom passed from Cancer 3 years ago and my son is in the Army I San Antonio. I have saved all your recipes and will adapt to smaller amounts for my 20 day stay. Thank you again so much. Keep rockin', keep roĺin', keep cooking!
Finally! Someone that when they say they are going to brown off some ground meat they actually let it get brown instead of over filling the pan and boiling it in watery meat juice.
This is a proven delicious meal. I'd go harder on the italian spices, but otherwise this is the base for an endless amount of wonderful italian soups and perfect on its own. Love the tortellini, too.

Herbs were not fresh but the soup looked delicious! Good recipe. Using fresh cut herbs will change the flavor some but it will be still tasty.
Amazing, you cook exactly like myself, I use the chopper. fresh pesto garlic, mirepoix (onions, carrot, celery) and don't add the pasta till served.
