My first Sauternes experience. Picked up this half bottle for about $30 and enjoyed it on New Years along side some Maytag blue cheese.
Honey and sweet raisin syrup with a very elegant finish. Got a lot of peach and citrus as well. Very well structured and a long aftertaste. A great introduction to Sauternes for myself. Excited to try some more.

I have a full 750ml of this in my cellar and I’m holding holding holding! Trying to go 30years but damn posts like this make me want to open it. It’s times like this I wish I had more then 1….
