   Wouldn’t a meat*loaf* sandwich be substantially the same thing only easier to eat because you can slice the loaf?

   I’ve done similar in my youth and in my foggy recollection it turned out amazing

   What do remember, is we just dug through the fridge for whatever we had and ended up with a hot meaty chessy garlicky toasted mess

   We slept well and heavy that night
