    Ingredients

    • 300 grams chicken wings

    • 1 capsicum (medium sized)

    • 2 onions (medium sized)

    • 3-4 pcs green chillies

    • 1 tablespoon garlic (chopped)

    • 3 tablespoons tomato ketchup

    • 1 tablespoon green chilli sauce

    • 1 teaspoon black pepper (crushed)

    • 1 teaspoon soy sauce

    • 4 tablespoons corn flour

    • 2 tablespoons maida/flour

    • 2 cups vegetable oil to fry the lollypop

    • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (for the sauce)

    • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder (optional)

    Instructions

    1. You can buy chicken lollipops straight from the shop but today will show you to cut your lollipops from wings.

    2. Break the bones and straighten up the wings. Now from each joints curve out 2 lollipop pieces. Make sure to use a sharp knife to get clean cuts. Breaking the bone with your hands beforehand helps to cut out easily.

    3. Take a piece and make a cut at the tip of the bone into the chicken to get the bone out. Now hold the tip of the bone and scrape the meat upwards to curve out a lollypop like piece.

    4. Pull the meat to one end to form a lollypop with clean bone at the end. Set aside and curve out the other lollypops as well.

    5. Clean the ends of the bones to make it look more appetizing. Take the onions and cut into four pieces. Peel the onion petals and set aside.

    6. Cut the capsicum into 4 wedges and cut 1 inch cubes. Cut the chillies into wedges.

    7. Let’s make the sauce now. Add tomato ketchup, green chilli sauce, black pepper (crushed), soy sauce, 1 & 1/2 tsp corn flour and 2 tbsp water. Mix the sauces and set aside. Make a semi thick batter.

    8. Now coat each lollypops with the batter and deep fry them. Make sure you add enough oil to deep fry.

    9. Do not overcrowd the pan, let them fry on all sides. On medium flame, it will take 2-3 min to get nice and crispy.

    10. On medium flame, it will take 2-3 min to get nice and crispy. Fry the other batches as well and take out. Take another pan and add 1 tbsp vegetable oil.

    11. Add the garlic, green chillies and capsicums. Saute them on high flame for 1-2 min. Add the onions. Keep the flame high and saute for 1 min.

    12. Add salt. Saute again for 30 sec, keep the flame high, otherwise the veggies will wilt. Add the sauces mix and saute with the veggies for 30 sec.

    13. Keep the flame low and add the lollypops. Quickly saute everything together until nicely coated.

    14. Finally add red chilli powder. Saute for 30 sec until everything is nicely incorporated. You can adjust the sauces and salt at this moment and even can add little water if it gets too dry.

    15. Off the flame and serve immediately!!
