Disclaimer: I can’t eat shellfish. The soufflé course in the original menu is a crab dish.
That said, this was my favourite meal in Paris so far, went to Septime and Le Clarence in the last couple days and even though they were fantastic, I enjoyed Granite a lot more. I also got a table right in front of the kitchen which is always a big plus.

Before I read the captions, I thought the first photo was a dessert on top of a fancy plate, even though the whole thing also made me think it was a gigantic mushroom. There’s real skill in making all of these look the way they do. I’m in awe.

Headed to Paris in May and this is on the list. How is dealing with the protests, trash, etc.?

I went last summer. Excellent meal, and not too expensive for a Michelin star. I sat by the kitchen and had some nice chats with the head chef. Really good experience.

Holy hell that bread looks bomb. God I love bread so much… When you say the butter was perfumed, could you taste the flavor of the barley?

My experience at Granite was the complete opposite. Food was bland from both the flavor perspective and texturally. We were hoping for so much more, but a huge disappointment.
