It used to be, this subreddit was full of ideas on how to upgrade basic foods with an inexpensive addition. Now I look at this ramen with eggs and think, wow what a waste of $3 of eggs to add it to ramen, I could fry it up with Spam for a full breakfast!
Sigh. I love eggs in ramen. But eggs now cost enough that I could just get cheap pork or chicken instead…what’s up with that?!
