Why am I cooking each component one by one and then putting it on a plate to warm in the oven lmao

Are these instructions for people who only own one tiny frying pan?

And at no point are hash browns mentioned

  3. Big_Ray_Ray

Ingredients list is alright but I’d add hash browns. The cooking instructions are a bit weird though.

Imo it’s just an assembly of fried breakfast foods until beans make it a fry up

Even AI knows that Hash Browns should be nowhere near a fry up

That isn’t enough mushrooms, and it could do with some bubble.

May as well cook one or more elements in the oven, bacon is actually excellent done in that way. Guarantees even crisp fat, done in a pan it is often rather flabby (and fumigates your kitchen). Hash browns may as well go in while you are there. Can do sausages at the same time on the hob as well as the black pudding, plus the mushrooms if you have space, just the fried eggs right at the end in a cleared pan.

Instructions – fry the food, making sure the mushrooms and tomato are browned, and the egg yolks are still a bit runny. Put the food on a plate. Win.

“Baked Beans (optional)”. Holy crap, it’s almost as if it’s… self aware.

That “traditional” part is relative. In Northern Ireland this is just a random assortment of foods. It’s not a fry up until it has at least 3 different types of fried bread. Soda, potato, pancake. The English are sleeping on the best fryup, the superior fryup, the undisputed champion of fryups. The Ulster Fry.

Baked beans optional but black pudding is not? No.

It seems baked beans really divides people, even Chat GPT isn’t sure they belong

The bread should be fried, or toasted at the very least
