Saw a menu pic earlier and it reminded me of this from The Frosted Mug in Edmond, OK.

You can order one of every steak on the menu, including both sizes of sirloin and all the sides that come with them, for just $6 more than the price of one tomahawk steak and 2 sides.

How does this compute? Are they charging for the novelty? I don’t get it!

It’s novelty. The Tomahawk is the cool thing to do, and it’s showy. I’m sure 10oz of that 40 is bone anyway.

Buy 4 rib eyes instead of the tomahawk

Stupid questions. Is tomahawk only a tomahawk if it has the bone? I’ve never seen anything called that otherwise. If it is, what cut is it without the bone.?

What doesn’t make sense to me is that the 12oz strip is more than the 16oz ribeye

  5. The ribeye is the cheapest steak on the menu if you go price per ounce. It’s $1.625/ounce. Tomahawk is $2.65/ounce. Filet $4/ounce.
