  1. TL;DR:

**Mimi Chinese**, 265 Davenport Rd. “hip upscale Chinese dining. shrimp toast .. They have perfected it completely. It’s like crack.”

**Chin Yuan Pai Ku**, 3636 Steeles Ave. E. “10 dishes to choose from, all are classic Taiwanese hits. The fried chicken cutlet is fire.”

**King’s Noodle Restaurant**, 296 Spadina Ave. “cheap Chinese hangover food done perfectly. Their congee and Chinese BBQ pork and soy chicken on rice are especially amazing.”

**Mei Nung Beef Noodle House**, 3255 Hwy 7, Markham “I head uptown to for my stinky tofu, dumplings and beef noodle soup. here you will get the real version and it reminds me of home.”

**416 Snack Bar**, 181 Bathurst St. “Small portions, but always on point. completely captured the definition of finger food”

  2. I’ve found 416 snack bar to be very overpriced for what it is. Surprised it is recommended by someone.

Bingz is also great which is now open in Scarborough town center; Mr. Crepe and the Shanghai Siu mai place beside it on second floor pacific mall are also great. zhangliang Malatang is like my cafeteria. Perfect meat bowl Scarborough and North York locations are nice too. All great street foods.
