Having been told I’ve got to lower my rol and my ure or die I’ve been experimenting with low fat sausages.
These are Heck Chicken Sausage. Not a bad flavour just not sausage flavour. Nice firm texture 6/10.
Tried Sainsbury low fat. Soft texture verging on to soft. Skins fall off and a bit of an odd taste 5/10
Had Lidle a few months ago so can’t remember enough about them to wright down but enough to say I probably won’t buy again. 4/10
Hope this helps anyone with similar issues. I will post more as I find.
Any recommendation’s gratefully received and no need to stop at sausages.

    I’m in the same boat!

To make the bacon more appetising give it a spray with 1 cal spray oil and add a bit of fresh cracked black pepper. The oil will help it get a bit of colour and crisp it a bit better.

I’ve seen that increasing fibre can really help with cholesterol. Hope you get on top of it, not an easy feat by any means.

    Food looks nice.

Try the Richmonds vegan sausages in the frozen section.

I think their normal sausages are rank but the vegan ones are a good substitute, and low in the bad stuff.

The bacon was threatened with a candle

Trying to imagine how you cooked the eggs in the grill…?

I’d just eat a bowl of weetabix at that point.

I find turkey sausages much nicer than chicken ones; might be worth a go.
