    A little background here:

The machine used is a Profitec 300 Dual Boiler with a Baratza Sette 270 grinder using 16 grams of grind of the House Blend from Small World in New Jersey. Tamped at 30 lbs with a normcore tamp in a normcore bottomless portafilter. The pull was around 32 seconds long at 203 degrees.

I think it tasted great and will be getting these beans again but I have a Rocket Faustino coming in so I will be needing to redial them in! Please let me know anything I should change very new to the espresso world

I was wondering-if I might inquire-if one were able to place one’s head between the base and the portafilter-could one feasibly have that shot made directly into one’s mouth?

    But seriously-that’s a beautiful shot!

Ok that’s coming through way too fast right at the start. Can you set it to grind finer? What happens when you do? Does it block? I had this issue with my bought-new Sette 270, was ok for a year or so but then i could never get it right. The pour looked just like yours, too fast and thin with no body. Emailed Baratza about it, they said to send it back for free repair. Worn or damaged parts inside, not sure which. Parts replaced, good shots again. It’s been over a year now and it’s still good.

Sorry if this sounds weird but the colour is very exquisite

The shot looks fast at the beginning but the rest of seems fine and so does your total time. Does your machine have pre-infusion? Could be normal if your machine goes full pressure from the get go.
