If you like Japanese food and eggs, and especially if you’re living on a budget, [this is perfect for you.](https://www.seriouseats.com/tamago-kake-gohan-egg-rice-tkg-recipe-breakfast). I usually lightly poach my egg so it’s not completely raw. Furikake can be found at Asian food stores or ordered online. I also like to add a bit of kimchi on top, the spice is a nice compliment. If umami flavor is your jam this has it all.

This is something completely different than what I usually eat. Looks really good and customizable with the seasonings. Thanks for sharing!

I make stuff like French toast for breakfast for my (very white bread American) housemates and then make this for myself many mornings. I like some kimchi with it also. Or spam if I’m feeling motivated! Mmmmm.
