Do coffee bean pieces also get stuck in this area in your Baratza Encore too? Anyway to prevent this?

Yes. It’s super irritating. I haven’t taken it apart to get it out, but it seems like a really bad design.

Yes. Take it apart upside down.

No way to prevent it, but not hard to deal with. I just take off the hopper and brush it into the burrs, then run for a few seconds on the top grind setting. It all passes right through.

Hey you could use different roasts over time and have a neopolitan coffee. Like a little reward at the end of the year.

I do not have Baratza encore but mine does something similar. Flipping it upside down and shaking works for me. EDIT: typo

Shouldn’t there be a silicon ring cover to prevent this?

I sold my Encore so can’t check but pretty sure.

This might prevent it. However, I haven’t tested this AT ALL, so look up reviews or something first.
And yes I get buildup, but not that much. I would recommend cleaning your grinder more often, at least a brush out once every 2 or 3 weeks.
