One of the best al pastor. Tacos Leo’s signature is their al pastor from the spit. They have several locations: Western/Sunset, Venice and La Brea and a few more that I don’t know lol. I am also adding an Al pastor burrito from the spit with melted cheese and avocado. Fun fact: meat on the spit was introduced by Lebanese immigrants, 19th century early 20th century. Salma Hayek is of Lebanese descentand Carlos Slim, Mexicos richest and Latin Americas richest person is also of Lebanese descent

I always liked the Leo’s on Venice/La Brea more than the one in Hollywood, don’t know if they prepare their food differently at the other truck.
The hollywood location let me down. Love the one on glendale blvd and w. temple st.
Last time I went to the OG Venice/La Brea was a total let down. Was really saddened and disappointed. Al Pastor was dried out and just not very good. I use to live nearby (10 years ago) and go weekly but these days there are so many better options out there.
As for the Lebanese background, there is a truck called Los Originales Tacos Árabes De Puebla, whose original flavors are the precursor to the Al Pastor.
