They sell these bowls on Amazon for like 12 dollars. You add the popcorn close it and microwave it no excess calories from fake butter. It’s the best thing ever. If you don’t wanna invest in an air popper check this out.

My roommate and I use ours almost daily

Have you figured out the microwave settings? Cuz I’m always weighing unpopped kernels at the end. Like a LOT.

I have one of these and I love it. I add a little tiny bit of butter and nutritional yeast. So good.
DIYsurgery
Can concur, these are awesome.
KungFuHamster
I always end up burning microwave popcorn. I got an air popper for like $12 and it works great.
Cookielady99
I use mine all the time!

What kernels do you use? I just put this in my cart!

Any reason for this one over the Popco or basically the same thing?
Glittering_Magpie
Have a different brand but love this type and totally agree!
Not sure if it will work the same for anyone else and I don’t measure, so there’s that, but I like to add about a tablespoon of water at the bottom with the kernels & some salt and it seems to make the popcorn pop up to be crunchier. My fam doesn’t like it without oil but never minds if I do it with the water. I have to add at least a minute to the cook time, depending on how much water I put in.

Thanks for sharing, I gotta look into this! Always frustrated with unopposed kernels when microwaving popcorn

I have one and love that its easy and doesn’t take up much space. I bought the “Colonel Popper” bc the name made me chuckle.

Or you can use a paper bag, for zero dollars
Aim2bFit
I just pop mine in a pan on the stove all the time. No oil no butter no sugar.

You can also use the bigger Stasher bags! Works best with one of the bags that can stand up on their own. Just a little oil and 1/3 cup of kernels, seal about 2/3-3/4 way and leave room for the steam to escape, microwave for 2 min on high, and enjoy. Super easy, plus it’s a multipurpose/use product!

Never knew this was a thing! Im so excited to try it out so I dont have to make my popcorn on the stove anymore 😂
battorwddu

Anyone compared this to borosilicate glass bowls?
No_Assistance7826
How many kernels do you find you can add. May have to get myself this.

I am a little confused 😅 Is this a device that you put kernels in? I have been reading the comments but I am still lost!
sweatingit_off
psa for anyone who might want one, but cant afford it rn- brown paper bags work amazingly! just put the kernels and fold the top a little then microwave like normal
Lost_Acanthisitta248
You can do this in a covered pot on the stove
Some_Clever_Handle
Glass bowl with a ceramic plate covering the top works fine for me.

I have sprinkled pickle juice on it and then sprinkled salt and it sticks better and has a little pickley flavor.

For those having trouble with these: the microwave makes a HUGE difference. I had an old Panasonic that worked great. When it died, I got the very next model of Panasonic, that looked identical, and it was horrible – either burned popcorn or large amounts of unpopped kernels.
I replaced it with a Wirecutter rec and bam! back to fine.
