**Directions**
1. Preheat the oven for 350°F (180°C) 2. In one bowl, mash **2** **ripe bananas** 3. Add in **1/3 cup (70g) granulated sugar, 1/3 cup (65g) brown sugar, 1/3 cup (76g) salted butter, 1 egg,** and **1 tsp vanilla extract** (these are the *wet ingredients*) 4. Mix all the ingredients together well 5. In another bowl, mix together **1 1/4 cups (160g) flour**, **1 tsp cinnamon**, **1 tsp baking soda,** and **1 tsp salt** (these are the *dry ingredients*) 6. Slowly pour 1/4 portions of the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, until fully combined 7. Gently stir all of the ingredients together until just blended 8. Add in **1/2 cup (87.5g) dark chocolate**, and briefly stir 1. *I cut up a small dark chocolate bar, but you could use dark chocolate chips* 9. Grease a bread mould with cooking spray – OR – parchment paper 10. Pour the dough into the bread mould 11. Add some extra pieces of dark chocolate and brown sugar on top of the dough for some added *oomph* 12. Bake the banana bread in the oven at 350°F (180°C) for 55 minutes, or until golden brown 13. Take the banana bread of the oven, and let it cool for at least 20 minutes before consuming 14. *Enjoy!*
