* 100g pitted dates * 20g cocoa powder * 30g rolled oats * 100g mixed nuts * Chocolate powder, for garnish * Green tea powder, for garnish * Shredded coconut, for garnish
Directions:
1. Chop the pitted dates into small pieces and drizzle a spoonful of water over them. Stir until evenly mixed and let them sit for 15 minutes to soften.
2. Blend the mixed nuts in a food processor until finely chopped, then pour into a steel bowl and set aside for later use.
3. Blend the date pieces in a food processor until smooth and mushy, then add cocoa powder and rolled oats to the mixture and blend until well mixed.
4. Pour the nut granules into the date mixture and blend. Check with your fingers to see if the mixture can be easily molded into shape. If so, transfer it into a steel bowl.
5. Take a suitable amount of the mixture in your hands and shape it into balls. Then, coat the balls with coconut shreds, chocolate powder or green tea powder, according to your preference.
