    **Ingredients**

    * Milk – 150 ml
    * Cornstarch – 1 tablespoon (8-10 g)
    * Sugar – 1 tablespoon (15 g)
    * Egg (60-65 g) – 1 piece
    * Vanilla sugar (or extract) – 1 teaspoon (5 g)
    * Cocoa powder – 2 teaspoons (for decoration)
    * Orange – 1 slice (for serving)

    **Cooking process:**

    1. In a small saucepan, whisk the egg (using a fork or mixer, it’s better to use a mixer for this recipe).
    2. Add the sugar and gradually add all the cornstarch.
    3. Beat well until the sugar is completely dissolved.
    4. Gradually and carefully, while stirring, add the milk. Do it gradually to avoid lumps
    5. Place the saucepan over medium heat and, stirring constantly, bring the mixture to a boil
    6. Reduce the heat and cook, stirring, for another 2-3 minutes until the mixture thickens to the desired consistency.
    7. Remove the saucepan from the heat, add the vanilla, and mix well.
    8. Allow the mixture to cool for about 15 minutes.
    9. Transfer the mixture to glasses. According to this recipe, you’ll get exactly 2 glasses
    10. Usually, cocoa powder is used for decoration just before serving, but I like a dark brown crust, so I add cocoa powder while the dessert is still warm. Here’s how to add cocoa powder: Cover the glass halfway with paper or a knife, sprinkle cocoa powder into a sieve, and sift it onto our glass, you can create any pattern you like.
    11. Place the dessert in the refrigerator for 30-40 minutes.
    12. Remove the dessert, decorate with a slice of orange.
