This meal was a splurge for myself and my husband on our honeymoon. We have visited multiple Michelin star restaurants and were very much looking forward to this meal. The highlight was the open kitchen concept and being able to watch the chefs during our meal. Unfortunately, we were otherwise let down by the experience. While the staff were professional, the food was good, and the plating elegant, it wasn’t the experience I expected when visiting a three Michelin star restaurant (especially at that price point).
Few of the dishes were truly exceptional, which is something I have come to expect with this kind of experience. My favorite course was the squid, my husband’s the mussels moqueca.
If I had spent half the money, I would have left with a different opinion, but I just wasn’t wowed. I left feeling disappointed and that my money would have been better spent elsewhere

Bummer to hear that. I will be in BCN this fall and I was thinking of Tres Hermanos as a place to hit up but now I am questioning it….
