Overall a great experience at Azurmendi. It was a unique and cool building as well as experience. You essentially go through 3 different areas to eat.
Everything food wise was creative and pretty. However I can’t say there were many “standout” dishes.
I’d say the black/red caviar dish was the most disappointing as I had higher expectations.
The uni, the truffle infused egg yolk and the rose and nector were prob my favorite.
Service was impeccable but if there was a complaint I’d say it felt almost robotic rather than personal.
It was the week of my birthday which they knew so they made an extra desert for me (which was nice but compared to other places, can’t say it was overly impressive). We had gone to Extebarri earlier in the week and they took me to meet the Chef, take a pic with ur and gave me theor book signed by him wishing me a happy birthday).
Overall it’s worth a visit for the experience but I wouldn’t go there a second time personally.
