Choosing some things to put out for a hopeful fall crop. Already had a good start but forgot my squirrel protection. >:(
Also making a list of things that I need to try next year or do again but at different times.

I was doing this at 3am this morning when I couldn’t sleep.

I will be doing it in the next few days. I put in a small seed order and it was shipped so I’ll have them in a few days. But I’m going to go thru my stash to see what else I want to start.

Guilty! Doing it while the garden is full on and I can weed out what I know I don’t want to grow next year. Example: really sick of yellow wax bush beans. I’ve planted them for years and they curl too much for my liking (pain for pickling, and in general not my favoirite bean to eat).
Next year all pole beans… I really like Blue Lake variety… not furry, nice and straight and very tasty.

Yeah. I was looking up differences tomatoes and vegetables I want to plant next year and figuring how I’m going to expand and rearrange the garden space. Learned about better spacing this year. Lol. I always think “that should be plenty of room” don’t want to make the same mistake AGAIN next year.

  5. I’m doing this right now. Also planning for fall

Same … but after picking up a hydroponic grow table now I am seeding all the stuff that should die outside in the next month. Totally threw my planning out of whack (in a good way!)
