I’ve started to bring coffee to work to share and so far the reception has been good!

I’ve been making my coffee at work for a while now. I keep a half liter kettle, hand grinder, scale, and melitta cone at my desk. When I make coffee everyone around me can smell it and I’m not shy about sharing it. If I’m not too busy, I’ll make someone an extra cup. I’ve been getting a reputation as the coffee guy. I feel like I’ve been fostering a bit of a coffee culture around here and introducing people to good coffee.
Recently, I’ve had someone working in my area with me and sharing coffee with him has been near daily. I talk about all the stuff I’ve learned and he enjoys learning about it too.
Last week, I decided to start bringing coffee I make from home to share. I have a 1 liter thermal carafe and decided to make a pour over and bring that to work to share. During the day I had a coworker give me money to buy more coffee with and another bring me a bag of coffee. I’m excited to continue bringing coffee to work if I continue to get this kind of reception. I’ll use a few different brew methods, mainly pour over, cold brew, and french press.

Perhaps a great way to test your new recipes with a lot of people to evaluate it 🙂
