I enjoyed my visit at L’Alchimia in Milan. The kitchen alone makes this place worth a visit, but an unassuming building with poorly designed (but perhaps space restricted) interior and generally awkward service cap its potential. the premium wine pairings were uniformly solid and sommelier knowledgeable.
I ate the chef’s degustation – with the tuna tartare adder. The details on every plate were fantastic with uniformly excellent sauces, foams, and preparation. It offers an a la carte menu as well and I would return for the turbot, tuna tartare, ravioli, and moon dessert.
