You can go to the freezer section and get a burrito for $1, $2, or $2.50 but does it honestly taste that good? NO! Not to mention when eating out these plump boys are $15 and that’s just not right! Do not worry though, we’re going to fix that with the perfect 2 dollar burrito.

  1. idk if other countries do this but most asians dont salt their rice

  2. The taco trucks in my hometown really do be increasing prices, the burritos are not cheap anymore

  3. A couple suggestions (this looks extremely tasty btw) unless you're cooking for a group, this is a very involved recipe for a single serving. For the best bang for your buck in terms of ingredients and time commitment, you can make a larger batch of these and freeze them to get frozen burrito convenience but gormet burrito flavor. All ingredients will freeze just fine, and you can reheat in toaster oven or air fryer, hell even microwave will do a decent job of reheating, but will make the tortilla more steamed than crisp.
I would recommend using cheese to glue the burrito shut by lightly frying the seam. I also like my burritos lightly browned and flattened both sides but that's me personally.
Rinsing rice: no need for fancy colander. Simply use the pot that the rice cooker comes with and swirl the rice with the water, and dump out the starchy water three times. You can cook rice by weight if you use a scale. The rice to water is still 1:2 ratio, so if you use 200 grams rice, use 400 grams water. FYI a serving of rice for a rice bowl thing is about 150 grams, and for your burrito because other ingredients, more like 90 grams.

  4. So a dollar transmits to five reais (currency in brazil) wich means this burrito costs ten reais i am so broke i can't afford to make one 🌯

  5. Looks amazing, but i'll give you a B- for the end product, because half your bites is gonna be 3/4 rice and the other half will be 3/4 meat. Need to spread it better.

  6. Actually watching your video makes my hot flavorless gunk taste better. I’d rather be cooked for that just cook for me.

  7. bacon amplified is such a cheap trick to make most dishes taste better. How about developing some delicious flavors from all the not as delicious foods?… get gud chump

  8. the problem with these "2 dollar" recipes is the fact that you don't buy ingredients per serving. you have to buy a bottle of this, a packet for that, etc

  9. I thought… He's not actually going to make his own tortillas… Yep, he made his own tortillas… Insert sweet brown meme here.

  10. I dont know if you believe in GOD but if you do believe don’t eat pork it says not to eat pork in the bible

  11. I literally laughed out loud while watching your video! You are so funny. I have two grandsons that keep me laughing, but so far they don’t cook. Your recipe looks and sounds delicious. I will surely try it. Thank you. I’m going to have to subscribe now and keep watching your videos! 😊
