Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad (Cute Bento Box Idea)



Here is a very simple and tasty recipe for a cold pasta salad. The combination of bacon and ranch are perfect. You could double the recipe and take it as a party or potluck dish. I also included a cute lunch box meal idea.

INGREDIENTS
8 oz pasta shells (or box of elbow macaroni)
1/3 cup mayonnaise (or a little more if you prefer)
1 1/2 tbls ranch seasoning mix
3 tbls bacon crumbles
1 tsp red wine vinegar (or lemon juice)
pepper to taste
1/3 cup shredded carrot
1 stalk of spring onion
**best served chilled

    I really am impressed with this video. Slow clear voice (not rushed) delicious recipe. Great idea for a bento box lunch. Fun to eat for children and grown children (aging parents). Nice touch on the bunny shaped carrots. Get both children and all of us adults to eat more veges.

    Loved the presentation and the guitar music softly in the background. I am a new subscriber so I don't know much about you or how long you have been doing videos but it is plain to see you take pride in your videos with your editing skills. Well thought out and I will stick around for a while.

    Good Day young lady,I came across your channel a few day's ago, (Subscribed) I like Mexican food, but never made my own, because it looked to complacated, But seeing you do it and making it look so easy, thought i would have a go myself. Anyway my question is, Do you have a homemade Taco  seasoning recipe??, looked through your vid's but can't see one  (maybe i missed it) If not, are you going to do one anytime??      Love from the UK… (yes! that little Island over the pond…lol)

    I love this dish but I'm going to add a few things like , small pieces of broccoli, red and green bell pepper, scallion's, maybe but not sure sliced olives ( I love black olives) and more bacon crumbles 😊 thank you so much I love your cooking ❣ You should write a cook book Gochujang Mama😊👍👍👍👏👋❣💕🎉📣

    Great salad. But can i use 1/2 ranch dressing and 1/2 mayo, since I don't have the powdered mix. Also some raisins would go gr8 with salad too.

    Thank you!! This is a great idea, I'm going to make this for my two grand daughters who are horribly picky eaters, they like Mac and Cheese so I'm hoping they'll like this also…. Keeping my fingers crossed.

    I know it's not really my recipe. It's just a family favorite. Lol

    Edit: I haven't tried it with the vinegars. I do cook off a pound of bacon to well done. I take 3 T. of the bacon grease and mix it into the dressing.

    I use fresh, raw peas in the mix, too.
