I wanted to try a Kaiseki dinner in Japan and was found this place (not sure if on Reddit or other website). The restaurant had counter seating and was pretty cosy. I had initially expected to not get much in terms of interaction because of language barrier, but turns out they both had an English menu and staff all knew English. The atmosphere was pretty friendly. All in all one of the better fine dining experiences I had.
Menu:
Sakizuke (Appetizer):
Barracuda, Boiled Matsutake Mushroom, Chrysanthemum, Mibuna Greens, Sea Urchin
Bonito, Yolk Vinegar with American Silvertop, Shiso Flower
Osuimono (Soup):
Hamo Conger, Matsutake Mushrooms, Yuzu Citrus, Clear Soup Base
Otsulauri (Sashimi):
Sea Bream, Botan Shrimp, Sea Urchin, Sudachi Citrus, Salt, Say Sauce, Wasabi
Yakimono (Grilled Dish):
Grilled Spanish Mackerel with Fried and Grated Chestnuts
Miyazaki Beef Sukiyaki, Matsutake Mushrooms, Crown Daisy, Eggs
Hassun (Seasonal Platter):
Boiled Chrysanthemum, Pacific Saury, Salmon Roe Squid dressed in Wasabi Fried Matsutake Mushrooms, Sudachi Citrus Karasumi Dried Mullet Roe, Shrimp, Gingko Nuts
Eggs, Edamame, Matsukaze (Chicken patty with Raisins and Walnuts)
Shokuji (Meal Dish):
Unagi Rice with Japanese Pepper flowers
Dessert:
Japanese Grapes, Pear
Steamed Chestnut Red Bean Jelly
The 10 course dinner (with no alcohol pairing) came to 30000 yen.

I love the wooden ‘knife’ at the end, great presentation.
