I had lunch at Mingles a few months back. Before I got there, I had been told by a few people that it wasn’t great and not worth the trip.
I thought it was very good. The setting was lacking some personality and service was a bit sterile and but it was efficient and unintrusive. The dishes were all really nice, highlights for me being the sticky rice risotto with crab, sweet bibimbap pre-dessert and their signature jang trio dessert.
It was not the most spectacular place I’ve been but certainly was not the poor experience I had been told to expect.
