I wanted this to be a better version of last year’s Infiniment Gourmand, or an improved nutty version of Roasted Hazelnut but it is not.
Once you are brewing the pod there isn’t a very strong or distinctive aroma coming from the cup. Once I took a sip I could tell it tasted like a water down version of the previous Hazelino Muffin. I won’t be sprinting to stock up on this flavor like I did with Infiniment Gourmand.
I only add one serving of the original coffee matte creamer (I do this for all the barista creations), no sugar or syrups.
SEASONAL DELIGHT SPICES
Once I started brewing this pod I could immediately smell it. It has a very strong aroma that reminds me of nutmeg and cinnamon and it does have also a distinctive “cherry syrup” smell or the smell of almond essence which reminds me of last years Raspberry flavor tho that one was worse for me, I could not drink it, this years is better but it won’t be my go to.

FESTIVE BLACK DOUBLE ESPRESSO
It’s just an espresso. Too bitter for me but my husband liked it.

Is there any other special holiday travel mug / chocolates / biscuits for this 2023 holiday ? Last year they have the new biscotti and collaboration chocolate squares and the red travel mug- but this year I haven’t seen any news yet when the advent calendars came out.

I’m disappointed. I always look forward to the fruit-forward holiday flavor. And whatever reimagined hazlenut tends to appear. We got neither of these this year. I loved Forest Fruit and Infinitement Gourmand from years past.

The frosted nuts seems like the nut part might be predominantly almond…are you getting any forest almond vibes from it at all? I dream of having that flavor again lol.

I’m in the US and was able to score the Advent Calendar when I guess Nespresso put it up on their app accidentally. I thought Frosted Caramel Nuts was really weak like a Solelio and not much flavor. I haven’t tried the other two yet. At least the mug is nice.
