1. In-room dining
2. Complimentary snacks and champagne
3. Complimentary breakfast
4. “Chef selection” breakfast option (the concept is similar to chawanmushi I think)
5. Ocean view from the Inn
Words can’t really describe my stay at Harbor House Inn. Top notch service and food. Definitely worth the drive (~4hr drive from Bay Area to Elk) and money well spent for this once (?) in a lifetime experience. Would love to return a get the full dining experience in the Inn’s dining room.
In-room dining menu:
– HH Farm salad, yuzu and sesame
– Sourdough bread, butter (the bread & butter I’d love to have for life)
– Poached abalone, smoked tomato vinaigrette
– Confit potatoes (the ultimate French fries)
– Rocktish, shishitos, seaweed vinaigrette (highlight of the night)
– Cauliflower, Jimmy Nardellos, sweet pepper and barley (the fibers of cauliflower were really tough to chew though, kinda disappointed)
– Dessert: Marigold ice cream, melon, sweet herb tea

Wow! Thanks for sharing – I had no idea about this amazing place and it looks soooo perfect for a weekend getaway!
I realized I forgot to include a picture of the dining room: https://imgur.com/a/qKvv5Lq
Looks amazing. Thanks for sharing I’ve eaten at the restaurant a couple times and love it but never stayed overnight.
