Trying the 4:6 pour over method. It says to use coarse. Is that for real? Like French press coarse?
This is the guide I’m looking at: https://en.philocoffea.com/blogs/blog/coffee-brewing-method

> Generally speaking, coarse grounds (brighter flavor) or fine grounds (more robust flavor) can be used. If you want a lighter brew, use a coarser grind; if you want a thicker mixture, use a finer grind.
I guess it’s to taste, but I would not go French press coarse to start.
I would honestly try the same ground you have and apply the rest to see the difference. Then adapt how coarse based on the above (wanting brighter or more robust flavor).

I don’t grind coarse for French press to begin with, but no i would not grind as coarse as most people do for 4:6. You’ll have to experiment, but i only ever moved my grinder a few notches to get a decent result.

Close to french press coarse. The technique calls for 45s between pours and taking the brewer off at 3.30 mins.
Do a french press grind. Do the technique as indicated. If you drain the brewer well before 3.30, grind finer and vice versa.
