Ingredients and procedures :
A large head of fresh cabbage
Boiling water with cumin and salt for cooking cabbage leaves for seconds before filling
Cut the leaves into equal pieces as shown in the video

We need Short grain rice
For each cup of rice
Sauté 1 chopped onion large size in oil or ghee then add
1 cup tomato juice
1 tbsp tomato paste
Salt to taste
Cumin, black pepper, dried coriander, cinnamon powder, chili (optional)
Cook on medium heat until the sauce becomes thick then turn the stove off then add fresh chopped parsley, dill and coriander and raw chopped onion
Then add rice and some raw oil
In a pot put a layer of cabbage leaves 🥬 as shown in the video
Then fill in the cabbage leaves with the filling We prepared and roll it then place the rolls In the pot add hot broth and some raw oil cover and cook on high heat until comes to boil then cook on low heat for about 1 hour

Can we make this with sushi rice because Egyptian rice are not available in Pakistan

Tomato sauce or onion are not used for 100% in Syrian cabbage rolls, They used broth, or water they add for it salt+ Mint+Garlic and before turn off the flame they add Lemon juice 🙂
