Sorry sir, your appliance for swedish citizenship has been denied, and to be fair. Its not about the balls being vegan, but making a sub without the rödbetssallad. Heresy.
i eat meat, but i can't understand why people get mad when you call a vegan recipe, something meat related, is this like some sort of culture appropriation thing for meat eaters?
As a non vegan, many many food items contain animal products, isn’t it possible that something slips in once and while? I understand label reading and such, but it’s very possible for you to consume a bit of dairy or meat here and there without knowing right?
lol plant based everything is the norm. We need to see what others see as normal, out of place. I see burger patties as patties, I have to refer to animal patties when talking to omnivores 😂
AMAZING idea! Just picked up more plant balls and lingonberry jam from IKEA today, was thinking of making Swedish meatballs for a holiday potluck so I am stoked if you have a recipe for the gravy!
Fun to see you made a Swedish dish! Cool that you got hold of the lingonberry jam too. 🙂 The other day I made a version of this meal with your ground tofu as a base! Both my Swedish and non-Swedish friends really liked it, none of whom were vegan

that frack joke was on another level
Plant Balls yuck….but vegan meatballs yes
Since you are giving swedish stuff a go, what about kebabpizza? Yes, it is exactly what the name suggests. 😂
If it looks like meat, smells like meat, and tastes like meat, it's meat. And that looks like one delicious meatball sub.
Love these I used to eat similar ones from ikea. Still good but I'm sure these are better

If @TheeBurgerDude replies I will literally be vegan for a week.

YUM!!!
Nice! Gardein meatballs are also very good. One of the first vegan meals I made my family was a garlic bread meatball sub. 🙂
That looks tasty! Tho tbh, I would ditch the bun and enjoy the balls alone 😅
