Finally got my own canner! 23 quart Presto. Decided to get a canner after my husband’s aunt, who was one of the most delightful people I’ve ever known and a canning champ, passed away this past May. A few months ago, husband showed me all the ribbons she won in canning contests over the years (dozens!!). Unfortunately, he gave away her canner, jars, and other items, otherwise I would have loved to have them. My absolute favorite thing she canned were peaches, so I’m hoping I do it justice!
I also got a couple Ball books (the most recently updated ones), a funnel, lid lifter, jar lifter, a scoop, and tool to remove bubbles/measure headspace. Anything else I need or is nice to have?
