Peppers sprouted perfectly, however their growth has been slow since. They are growing, but they’re continuously shedding leaves as they get taller. Does anyone have any advice for what may be holding them back?

Im sure that mold has something to do with it

You can see the mould infecting the bottom of the stem. Get them out of that mouldy compost if any are worth saving. Too much moisture and/or not enough air circulation will grow fungus better than peppers.

They shouldn’t be in the tiny seed starter cubes this long. Also, the mold. Is this a troll post?

You’re supposed to move them over to like 4″ pots once they’re 1-2 weeks old, they’re rootbound and the mold isn’t helping. Looks like a nice little seedling tho.
